Annual General Meetings will be hosted by the President of the GSC in his country, at the end of his year in office. Normally the meeting will be held any time between March and May and last for three days. Members will be advised of the venue at least two years in advance. All members are encouraged to attend this meeting together with Members’ partners and prospective GSC members.
Working Luncheons and Section Meetings are held annually in both New York in October and in London in November/December. The meetings are for Members only and last for two days. They are usually attended by Members from that Section although other Members are very welcome. Members are encouraged to invite graduates of the GSC courses to the meetings. Members are encouraged as well to invite graduates and guests to the Luncheon.
Other Meetings on specialised topics or networking events will be held as and when the need arises in the country most willing and able to host the meeting or on the occasion ofi international maritime conferences or exhibitions. Members who are directly involved in the topic of the meeting will be invited to attend.
GSChannel is the virtual networking instrument of the GSC. Created in 2020 because of the Covid 19 pandemic, it allows our association to continue networking and organising virtual meetings via video conferences, webinars, etc…
